What are the biggest skill gaps that prevent Power BI consultants from delivering? - royben239 - 03-06-2025

Many Power BI consultants excel in data visualization but lack expertise in DAX, Power Query, and complex data modeling. Without strong ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) knowledge, SQL proficiency, and AI-driven analytics, they struggle with handling large datasets, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity. Additionally, many consultants do not fully understand business intelligence (BI) principles, which leads to reports that lack actionable insights. To bridge this gap, Power BI consultant must undergo continuous training in advanced analytics, performance tuning, and real-world business problem-solving to meet evolving client needs.
