Hey, that sounds frustrating, especially with a new baby! Your thinking about the condenser fan makes sense. It definitely sounds like an airflow issue when you're stopped. Before you go to a mechanic, maybe double-check if anything is obstructing the condenser itself – leaves, debris, etc. Also, is your driveway or where you park have a significant Slope? Sometimes weird refrigerant behavior can be exaggerated by parking on an incline if the system is already a bit low. A certified mechanic is probably the best bet though, they'll have the right equipment to properly diagnose it.
