Morse Code became extremely important in maritime communication, military operations, aviation, and emergency signaling because it is simple, reliable, and can be transmitted in many ways, including sound, light, and radio signals. One of the most famous examples of Morse Code is the distress signal “SOS,” which is universally recognized as a call for help in emergency situations. This signal is easy to remember and is used globally because it can be understood even under difficult conditions where voice communication is not possible. Over time, Morse Code was widely used in radio communication, especially by amateur radio operators, also known as “ham radio” enthusiasts, who continue to use it even today as a hobby and for practice like morse code alphabet.
