The Mediterranean Affairs Programme supports cooperation across Mediterranean borders.
We provide know how, sharing experience, technical assistance for information exchange, partner matching, project financing for projects and programmes developed and managed by Governments at all levels, universities, private and civil society organisations.
Mission
To improve the quality of human life and ensure a sustainable growth in the region, we have put, also, the environment at the heart of each mission.
Enhance the Mediterranean space, given that European security is directly linked to security and stability in the Mediterranean region;
Maintain the contacts with the Mediterranean Partners for cooperation and participate in events related to supporting relations between the Mediterranean space;
Encourage meetings and missions when possible to Mediterranean Partner countries;
Consider ways to strengthen the Mediterranean Forum;
Consider instruments for stimulating the organization of a Mediterranean Forum;
Report regularly on developments in the region, including on opportunities for improved cooperation.
Building new marketplaces and continuosly promoting new ideas
in the Mediterranean, Europe and Africa.
